Innovative Research Insights is proud to be conducting the 2026 Community Needs Assessment for the Welfare Reform Liaison Project, Inc. (WRLP), the Greensboro-based community action agency that has provided employment training, distribution services, and supportive programs to Guilford County residents for more than two decades. The centerpiece of the assessment is now live: the 2026 WRLP Community Needs Survey, open to all Guilford County residents.

The survey takes about ten minutes. Responses are confidential and reported only in combination with others, and you may skip any question you prefer not to answer. Participants must live in Guilford County to qualify, and eligible participants will be entered into a sweepstakes for a $100 gift card. Paper copies are also available at WRLP’s office at 1600 East Wendover Avenue, Suite I, in Greensboro, as well as at partner sites and community events throughout the fall.
Why does this survey matter? WRLP conducted community needs assessments in 2020 and 2023, and the 2026 survey deliberately carries forward the core questions from those earlier rounds. With three readings on the same indicators, WRLP can move beyond single-year snapshots and speak in trends: how food security, housing stability, employment, health access, and household finances have actually changed for Guilford County families across six eventful years. Trend evidence of this kind is what boards, funders, and elected officials find most persuasive, and it is what allows an agency to aim its services where the need is moving rather than where it used to be.
Every completed survey strengthens that picture.
